The Retired Hussey was born out of a desire to hold a safe emotional space for workers to decompress, process and feel seen, while offering advice and support that champions self respect, sustainable business practices and the erection of safe boundaries. My road to living life on my own terms and ensuring I wasn’t abandoning myself in a bid to create security were consolidated through speaking with a trusted confidante who reflected back my relational patterning, blind spots and naiveté in a judgment free zone, and it is my goal to be able to be of service to others in this same manner.

So, who am I? Well, I’m a ten year veteran whooker who has relished in the unconventional existence SW has granted me. I embarked upon this path with very little experience, both business and intimacy wise, and managed to create a grand little adventure of my life by means of the industry. I’ve dipped my toe in the market of four continents, made good money but most importantly healed parts of my soul that I was unable to touch had it not been for the thrilling yet terrifying world that lay before me. I knew tumbling down the SW rabbit hole opened up boundless possibilities of exhilarating freedom, however, at that point in my life I lacked the tools to refine and hone this into true abundance and empowerment.
